The Rehoboth Beach Museum holds events all year long, and the winter season is no exception. Throughout November and December, there will be several Memoirs For All events. These memoir writing classes are led by Rae Tyson and are perfect for every level of writer. Classes are held on four Thursdays during November and December at 10 a.m. each day. Registration is required and costs $20 for members and $25 for non-members.

If you’re visiting any other time during the year, be sure to visit the Rehoboth Beach Museum’s website for more information on events happening during your stay. One popular annual event held from September through November is the Annual Needlework Exhibition, bringing together more than 80 regional needle artists to compete for the top prize.

Children and Groups

At the Rehoboth Beach Museum, it’s easy to bring the whole family to learn about the history of Rehoboth. Children are always welcome at the museum, and there is a specific exhibit room made just for them. Kids of all ages will love the funhouse mirror, the scavenger hunt, or any of the other fun activities. Keep in mind that children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Additionally, the museum is right next to Grove Park, giving your kids a fun place to play before or after your visit.

If you’re in town with a group, the Rehoboth Beach Museum is happy to accommodate you. All facilities are handicap accessible, and a tour guide will be provided for your group, no matter how big or small. There is also a public parking lot right next door is so everyone can easily find a place for your car. Admission and Support

The Rehoboth Beach Museum is a great budget-friendly way to learn about the area, as admission price is on a voluntary donation basis. You can give as much or as little as you are able, and all of your donations help to keep the museum running and holding incredible exhibits. 

If you want to support the museum further and you plan to visit the area, again and again, consider a membership! Your membership will give you advance notice of events, discounts to ticketed events, and special emails to keep you aware of the yearly happenings. Additionally, your membership fee will go right back into the museum, helping it to remain the Rehoboth Beach staple that it is today. You can purchase an individual membership for $25, a household membership for $35, a supporting membership for $50, or an Anna Hazzard Level membership for $100. The Rehoboth Beach Museum is located at 511 Rehoboth Avenue. Winter hours are Friday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Summer hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
