Rehoboth Avenue (Route 1A) bisects the town north and south, extending east to the world famous Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk and our jewel – the beach and the Atlantic Ocean.
North of Rehoboth Avenue we have North Rehoboth – an eclectic mix of shaded streets, parkland and lakes. Housing is mainly singly family homes on lots of 50’x100′, mostly shaded streets.
North Rehoboth is further subdivided into the Grove Park neighborhood, NORA, The Pines, and the independent municipalities of Henlopen Acres, and The Pines. Housing covers the range of modest beach cottages to the more suburban larger homes of Henlopen Acres. In The Pines one will even find Mid_Century Modern style cottages evoking Palm Springs, California, or Northern California.
