Nice House, Vacation Friendly, Responsive Rental Company

By: Trip Date: 07/11/2020

It’s a late 1980s or early 1990s house with many of the original appliances and fixtures from back then all in good working condition. There was absolutely nothing lacking and the house presented as it was advertised. Upon arriving it was immaculately cleaned, and the service from the rental company was exceptional. Because we had a good weather week we were able to spend time on the back deck, which was nice, but we did wish the house had a screened-in porch. Also helpful was their upgraded wireless, which made it easy for a few of us to catch up on work during the week. A couple of items to note. It’s nice that they supplied linens, but the bath towels were of the college dorm variety — an upgrade on that would be nice, or simply bring some of your own. And beware of the steep curb leading to the driveway … if you go faster than one mile per hour heading in or backing out, be prepared for potential damage to the underside of your car. Overall it was a pleasant place, homey, comfortable and big enough to accommodate our six-person group.

Great Place

By: Trip Date: 06/22/2019

With 3 boys 4 and under, this house was fantastic. Plenty of room for them to run around and play. The kitchen was large enough for several people to be working in it at the same time. We were all quite impressed and totally satisfied. The little extras, like the bikes, were nice. Would use this house again and highly recommend it.

A great vacation house in Rehoboth Beach!

By: Trip Date: 06/25/2016

I just can’t say enough about this great place in Rehoboth. The house is very spacious, nicely equipped with several tv’s/wi fi/ cable/ deck/bikes/outdoor shower/comfortable beds/ plenty of parking and more. I loved that the master bedroom and bath is situated on the opposite side of the house than the other two bedrooms, which offers nice privacy (and having a master bath is awesome). We had 5 people total ~ My husband and myself, my two grown sons and one of their girlfriends and there was plenty of space for all of us. The location is super convenient to shops and restaurants and beach. Bring a beach cart to help with the transport of chairs and towels and other stuff you’ll need at the beach, you’ll be glad you did. I bought a grocery cart (large) for $30 on Amazon (2 day free shipping) and it was worth every dollar! You don’t need the $100 variety, trust me. The neighborhood is perfect for evening strolls and if you’re a runner the streets are easy to navigate and flat with very little traffic. The street is also very quiet in the evenings and throughout the night, which made sleeping easy. The owner is a super nice guy who we enjoyed working with. We looked at so many places and this house was by far (by far!!) the best value. We were so excited when we opened the front door and saw how nice and big the house was. Within about five minutes we knew we were going to have a great week in this house in Rehoboth ~ and we sure did! I would highly recommend it, you’ll love it!!

Nice house for a family in a great quiet neighborhood

By: Trip Date: 07/30/2016

We were nervous about this rental because it didn’t have many reviews, but it was just what we needed, with a nice open concept, HUGE kitchen, and three good sized-bedrooms. We would have liked to see the kitchen just a bit better appointed in terms of supplies (no whisks?? No baking dishes? No medium-sized serving bowls or wine glasses!) and the bedrooms all get a LOT of morning sun which, given that there were no black-out shades or curtains, just white blinds, meant that sleeping in was not really in the cards. But those would be our only complaints. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, the back deck was a nice plus, and we liked the one-level living.

Thank you for your reservation and for the feedback. I have discussed this with the Owner. We have completely upgraded the kitchen supplies including whisks, baking dishes, serving bowls in multiple sizes, wine glasses and beer tumblers. Our apologies for the oversight. We have also installed new blinds and room darkening curtains. It’s a shame, if you’d called us during your stay we could have worked with the Owner to address during your visit. I hope that it did not spoil your stay. We look forward to welcoming you again with a better equipped kitchen and room darkening window treatments. We’re glad you liked the house otherwise. Thanks, Andy, Rental Manager.

Wonderful beach trip

By: Trip Date: 08/06/2016

This was our first time visiting Rehoboth and we had a wonderful time. The house and the town were very quaint and easy to walk around. And we really enjoyed the Delaware State park beaches for their convenience and they were much more open than the very crowded boardwalk beach. The house was beautiful, very spacious and open, with lots of conveniences. We could have used a few more large cooking pots and pans and also some tupperware to store food in for the week, but we were on vacation so we made do. The grill worked nicely. Please leave the bike lock code somewhere easy to find so that the bikes are easy to use. But otherwise there was lots of information about the house and town and touristy stuff made easily available. We would recommend traveling here for a family vacation.

Thank you for your reservation and for the feedback. I have discussed this with the Owner. We have completely upgraded the kitchen supplies, and added the bike lock code to the welcome information It’s a shame, if you’d called us during your stay we could have worked with the Owner to address during your visit. I hope that it did not spoil your stay. We look forward to welcoming you again with a better equipped kitchen. We’re glad you liked the house otherwise. Thanks, Andy, Rental Manager.

House was super cozy. I think the one bedroom is only a full bed and not a queen bed. Had a beautiful patio area that was enjoyable. Would stay there again. Thought the keyless entry was a nice perk. walk to beach is far but not unreasonable. Close to main drag. Quiet area. Central air is a nice perk and kitchen was well equipped to cook.

Yes, the second bedroom has a full bed. Andy, Rental Manager.

Easy and excellent

By: Trip Date: 09/16/2016

my six thirtysomething friends and I really enjoyed our weekend here at this comfortable and fairly modern place. Everything was walkable. Grill worked. Good parking. Convenient door code box. Comfy beds. Fairly spacious.
Possible minor improvements – ditch VHS players, furnish linens/towels (it was very easy for me to rent though), furnish soap, update couches eventually.

Thankyou for your reservation and for your feedback. We’re glad that you had a great time! The VHS player has been returned to the decade it came from and is no longer at the property. The sofas at the property are in like new condition, but we recognize that the patterns are not to everyone’s taste and we’re working with the Owner to replace.

Thank you, Andy, Rental Manager.

Awesome house

By: Trip Date: 09/22/2016

House was really really nice. The photos on the website don’t do it justice. It looks really small from the outside but the house is very spacious. Awesome location too. We are definitely considering renting again next year for a girls week get away.

The best for the price

We’ve stayed two visits in a row. Very clean, spacious and great location. We’re planning to come back next year. Gene, Liz Hammond

Very nice time.

Very clean and roomy. Close enough to walk to the beach, boardwalk, and Rehoboth ave where all the shops are.

Great affordable vacation house

By: Trip Date: 08/19/2017

This is the second year staying here and it was every bit as good as the first. We all love the extra amenities included: gas grill, blender, decent selection of pots and pans etc. We even made use of the two beach bikes. The beds are comfortable and all of our basic needs were met so we could all enjoy a week at Rehoboth!

The house was very nice and spacious enough for three couples. People responded to the small problems we had quickly.

House larger than it looks in pictures Really clean great location

Spacious, easy, clean

By: Trip Date: 08/25/2018

Great place in quiet neighborhood, 6 minute walk to DogfishHead. The master bed/bath is vast, very comfortable, the other 2 bedrooms are ample. Kitchen also huge, plenty of space for all cooking needs. I would come back here any day!
