The beach is just a few steps away from your front door. Walk to the beach or Matt's Fish Camp restaurant nearby. Also close by, just to your south are downtown Bethany Beach, Fenwick Island, and Ocean City Maryland. A 15 minute drive to your north brings you to Cape Henlopen State Park, Dewey Beach and Rehoboth Beach. A perfect location to enjoy the best of the Cape Henlopen seashore. Property is a Friday-Friday rental during the summer season. Sleeps 11 (9 in beds in bedrooms and an additional 2 on a queen sleeper sofa in bedroom 1). Driveway parking for 4 cars. Great Family Vacation

List of things I liked about this beach home rental: close proximity to the beach, beautiful uncrowded beaches, very well stock kitchen, comfortable beds, super roomy, lots of decks, loved the outdoor shower, plenty of parking, short drive to Dewey, Bethany boardwalk, easy to check-in/out, clear and complete welcome package. My family and I had a great vacation.

Perfect Location!

We stayed here in April 2017. This home is all about location. It is 2 minutes walk to the beach and 1 minute to Matt’s Fish Camp, an excellent place to let your palate loose on seafood. We were 2 large families with 6 kids ranging from 8 through 15, who took full advantage of the proximity to the beach – which was very clean and sparsely populated, which made it feel like a private beach. We saw dolphins too! The outdoor shower made it easy to clean up from the beach and the patios on either side of the house ensured that while the kids ate at one, the adults could relax at the other. If you are concerned about finding parking at the beach, traveling to and fro if young kids want to go to the restroom, cleaning up, etc., this is the home at which you should stay, due to the proximity. We went for long walks on the beach in the mornings, relaxed briefly after food and headed back to the beach. The open design of the central floor made it easy to relax with great cross ventilation and lighting. Distance to shopping was ideal too, as it was only 8 minutes away for anything we needed to get the kids (breakfast, etc.).

We stayed here in February 2017 and this place was great. We were thinking of purchasing a property in Bethany and decided to rent the house for a weekend to get a feel for the area. We started looking immediately!!! The home was located in a very convenient location which was a very short walk from the beach and a short ride to the town. The house very spacious for us and felt very homey while we were there. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a family escape. We really enjoyed it, this place must rock in the summer. The only issue I had was I couldn’t close one of the windows when we first got there but the property manager was pretty prompt in fixing it.
