Amazing home! Not just a rental!

By: Trip Date: 12/27/2017

Gorgeous! Comfortable, roomy, very well apportioned. Real art: yes, real art! Amazing in every way!

Good times

Great house. We brought the dog. It’s hard to find places that don’t mind a huge Great Dane but these people did and we had a great time.

Great house in a great location

By: Trip Date: 07/15/2017

The house is well appointed, clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to friends. A wonderful spot in Rehoboth.

Property is well maintained and location is perfect – easy access to the beach but also very quiet!

By: Trip Date: 07/01/2017

Property is as lovely as the pictures suggest. We were very pleasantly surprised at how easy the trek was to the beach despite being 4ish blocks away. If you are bringing chairs and umbrellas for a family, you will want a wagon otherwise it is a quick 10 minute trip. Rental agent was terrific – the outdoor shower valve hadn’t been installed for the season when we arrived and the grill needed a bit of attention. The agent responded to my e-mail very quickly and minor issues were taken care of within 24 hours (impressive given it was the Sunday of a holiday weekend!) Only very minor improvement suggested is for bigger coffee mugs. If you like a big cup to get your day started, you should bring your own.

Exceeded every expectation

The first thing I observed upon arrival was the quality of the amenities. My hunch is that the owners live here more than many of the other rental properties in which I’ve stayed.

Denon AV receiver. Sonos wireless sound system. Vera automation controller. Lumenplay porch and deck lights. Samsung TVs. Brand new LG kitchen appliances.

Was truly the most well-furnished home I’ve rented to date. A lot of care and attention to making your time spent in the house easy to enjoy.

We came with two other families. Four kids under 3 years old in total. The house was perfect for everyone.

The layout has two BRs downstairs, one with an en suite and another sharing a BA with the common area. BRs empty out into the kitchen, dining area and living room. Upstairs has BRs on opposite sides of the house with a shared BA (shower, no bathtub) in the middle. Carpeting made for incredibly quiet rooms (baby crying in one room couldn’t be heard by other adults across the hall).

Location was great, depending on your interests. The walk to the beach was a little longer than I prefer, given that all families were hauling kids, strollers and beach gear back and forth. That said, if you’re just doing one roundtrip to the beach per day, it’s not bad (~11 minute walk to the sand). The location is pristine for Rehoboth Avenue dining. A 3-minute walk to Starbucks, Dogfish Head, Fins Fish House and more. Loved the quiet street as well. Parking was not a challenge (we fit three cars on the driveway and had two street passes).

No real criticisms of the house. Only points to share would be for families with younger kids:

1) The rug in the living room downstairs is a rough natural fiber (jute?). If you plan to have little kids crawling on it, bring something to lay on top of it. We traveled with our rubber 12″x12″ color-block nursery flooring, so we just laid it down on top and life was good.

2) The coffee tables in the living room have quite sharp metal edges. Solved the problem by just moving them into the screen porch for the stay.

Highly recommend the property, as well as the realtor. I worked with Andy Meddick from Seachange Vacation Rentals and had a delightful, pain-free experience.

Will absolutely stay again next year.

Exceptional home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 36 Kent Street. This home was conveniently located in a beautiful neighborhood and was so comfortable for our family. Love, Love, Love it!

Amazing house

By: Trip Date: 05/05/2017

We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely come back. House is nicer and better than pictures. Enjoyed sound system throughout the house and the porch. Clean, cozy but spacious enough to relax each in their own room.

Perfect Summer Getaway!

By: Trip Date: 08/06/2016

We loved our stay here so much we stayed 5 summers in a row! First, the house is ideally situated in Rehoboth Beach on a beautiful, wooded block. It’s close enough to walk to restaurants and shops, but just far enough away from the noise and hustle and bustle of town. It’s the perfect getaway. The house itself is spacious, luxuriously-decorated and modern. The first floor is wonderfully open. Our favorite rooms are the kitchen and living room that lead directly to the front porch. Although we love many restaurants nearby, we were just as happy to make a delicious meal in the state of the art kitchen or use the grill just outside. There is also an outdoor shower which makes cleaning up after the beach a breeze. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable, and 3 of the 4 bedrooms have a private bath. We can’t say enough about this gorgeous home. We are so looking forward to stay again in the near future!

Family spring break

By: Trip Date: 04/08/2017

Property is so clean. One of the best rental homes I have ever rented. Lots of clean kitchen dishes and utensils. The patio lights are on a timer and make the house so pretty at night time. So close to all restaurants and shops. Lovely neighborhood, cute houses and very quiet. All beds are very comfortable and new. We were two families and plenty of room for 10. Great round dining table that fits 6 and then a bar/kitchen stools that fits 4.

Fabulous home and location

By: Trip Date: 08/13/2016

We had a great stay at this home. We only stayed for the weekend, but are definitely going to stay longer the next time. The screened in front porch is so inviting and relaxing and is a great spot to have an after beach cocktail. While the upstairs porch is a great spot for sunbathing and a nice nap.

The home is so close to everything. You can park your car for the week/ weekend and walk or bike everywhere. There are many, many great restaurants and bars close by. This home is definitely a win/ win all around.

We had a great stay and can’t wait to go back.

Already Booked

By: Trip Date: 08/20/2016

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. Beautifully appointed, clean and updated. ((((Everything)))) is in walking distance and the neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. The open concept first floor made for an integrated entertaining space, but interestingly enough it was also very private. We shared the home with another couple, we slept on the first floor and they were on the second and you could not even tell if anyone was in the house. There is a great screened front porch as well as a second story sun deck. We are staying again and highly recommend the space.

Take me back!

By: Trip Date: 08/27/2016

Loved our stay here! Situated in downtown Rehoboth, walking distance to our all favorite restaurants and shops off Rehoboth and Baltimore Ave. Close to everything yet tucked away for an escape. We especially enjoyed starting our mornings on the spacious roof deck with coffee and unbelievable donuts from a deli a few blocks away. On the days we skipped the beach, we sunbathed on the private roof deck or took bike rides through the shady streets that opened up to trails and boardwalks through the wildlife park, historic military site, all the way up to Lewes. Afternoons we relaxed under the screened in porch with a book and music or invited friends over for cocktails and hor d’oeuvres before heading out for the night. This house is perfect for any mood! Cozy for a rainy movie night, and spacious for entertaining with an open kitchen/living layout with the most comfortable couches inside and out. Best part is the close proximity to all the best restaurants (sushi and Italian a few streets over), beaches, shops and bars. Park your car for the week and go for a walk or bike ride wherever you want to go. Owners had great recommendations for dining and biking trails. Will definitely come back.

Perfect Beach House
